If you have created a website on the local server (XAMPP). Now it’s time to transfer it on the live server to show it to the world. But if you directly import it through all in one plugin it doesn’t work. You have to follow the manual process to successfully migrate it, Let’s do this follow the below steps:
STEP 1: To successfully transfer your website to another server. You require a domain name or hosting server to make it visible on the web. Once you have a live domain and server, you require the older version of All-In-One WP Migration Plugin 6.77 to successfully migrate your complete website to another server.
STEP 2: In this step, we will learn how to Install the (All In One WP Migration.6.77) on both websites. It is very important to note that you install the above plugin to import the website directly from the plugin section and follow the easy steps below.
STEP 3: Once you successfully install the plugin on your live website, it will automatically create a backup folder in the c-panel area of your file manager by the name (ai1wm-backups).
In case you can’t see any folder by this name you have to create one manually. Then go back to the website dashboard and click on the backup button. it will automatically create the folder which you can see in the following screenshot.
STEP 4: Once you have an all-in-one backup folder in your file manager. It’s time to export the existing website WordPress file. Then you download it on your hard disk and upload the same in the above folder manually.
STEP 5: Once you finish uploading your existing website WordPress file in the all in one backup folder. The next step is to go back to your website dashboard and click on backup and restore.
STEP 6: After the successful migration of your website. Save the permalink so that all pages and posts of your website work properly.
